ACME Data

Data Download Help Page

The ACME Data Download tool allows users to download biogeochemical data for South Florida sites in tab-delineated or CSV (comma-separated values) text format, which may then be imported into most spreadsheet or database programs. Users may select any subset of data parameters and South Florida sites for which one would like to obtain data, for any period since 1999.

An interactive Google Map application provides the location of the sites with data being served in the ACME Database. Information provided upon activating site pins includes site name, site type, general site information, site latitude and longitude, basin, and Institution site established by.

Data from the ACME Database may be obtained by selecting the following parameters:

Time Frame

Time Frame fields
Not all sites have a full range of data.

Enter a date range in the format "YYYYMMDD". Data is provided from 1999-03-28 to 2012-09-04. Not all sites have a full range of data. The data set will be returned containing all data within the selected date range, even if coverage does not extend to the entire range for all sites.

Data Parameters

Data Parameters fields
Output file containing selected parameter and selected sites will be generated.

Select the measured parameters you would like to download. Not all parameters are available for all sites. Over 60 measured parameters are available for some sites - see Methodology for full listing of parameters.

Institution

Institution fields
Not all sites have data from each Institution.

Select the Institution for which you would like to download data.

Sites

Sites fields
Output file containing selected parameter and selected sites will be generated.

Select the sites for which you would like to download data. Selecting larger date ranges than covered, or selecting parameters and/or Institutions not available for some or all of your chosen sites will not cause a problem with your data download; your resultant dataset will merely be blank for the period/parameters/Institutions in question.

Output Format

Select an output format for the downloaded data. Data may be downloaded as either CSV (comma-separated values) or tab-delimited text format.

Output options
Data may be downloaded as either CSV (comma-separated values) or tab-delineated text format.
