Equation 13 Image: Scientific equation that describes the calculation of the freshwater portion of the ground-water discharge from the total discharge.

Description:

Fresh ground-water discharge is equal to total ground-water discharge, multiplied by the difference between the density of pure seawater and the simulated density of ground water discharging to Biscayne Bay divided by the difference between the density of pure seawater and the density of pure freshwater.
